This week was quite the ADVENTURE as always… The days were LONG but the week flew by! God is such a God of miracles. Every week I am blown away with how much God blesses us and the people I come in contact with! I absolutely love being a missionary and I don’t know if I am quite ready to say I am officially on my last month.
This week we had one of our mission wide trainings! It was sister Burtons first time! I remember how nerve racking it was for me the first time… but it turned out really good. Many of the missionaries came up and told us how needed our training was. It is always a testimony to me that God really is in charge of this mission and he inspires his leaders.
SUE and WILLIAM!! Sue and William are some of my favorite miracles from this week. William we actually found last Monday after P-Day! William is a part member family meaning his wife and kids are members. We decided to drop by and ended up sharing a powerful lesson which led to talking about baptism. He said he had an experience at work and he told us he told his co-worker he is ready to be baptized!! So we set up a return appointment and in that appointment we were able to put him on date!!! We are so excited for him. The only downfall is he is really hot and cold. He gets really excited about things and then a few weeks later he gets flaky. So please say extra prayers! SUE is the CUTEST old grandma ever! She has been being fellowshiped by her neighbor for a long time. When we went by she said I am so interested and ready to learn. We will get to teach her tonight for the first official time tonight!
THE BOOK END! This week I got to go on exchanges in Kuna with Sister Ellsworth! My very first area was Kuna. It was the place where I was trained and I gained a love for missionary work. Going back to kuna and staying in the same house really completed the circle in my heart. I had so much fun! It was crazy to get to hang out with roommates at the house and even have a nerf war lol!
TONGAN BRANCH MIRACLE! Our poor girl NIA has been going through it with her family struggles. With those family struggles she has slowly been distancing herself from everyone. Nia is scared, scared of the unknown and scared of the future. Our branch president and his wife invited NIAS entire family over for dinner on Saturday. We had a very powerful message with them and then President Mo invited their family to sing. They sang very beautiful songs in Tongan and it brought the spirit more than anything I have ever felt and answered a lot of my own personal prayers. I love the branch and I love Nia and her family! Her sister Kale who has been a member for a year now has decided to go on a mission and I got to be the 1st person she told! I feel like I am apart of their family
