It’s DECEMBER! I love this season with all my heart. I told my companion it didn’t feel right not having any snow though…. It snowed here 2 days ago!

This week has been a long one. To begin the week we had our Mission Leadership Council! Like I have already expressed, it’s one of my favorite meetings. This next zone conference is going to be awesome! We are going to focus this month on Christlike attributes. I feel it’s going to really bring out the Christmas spirit. We are also going to have a fun parody sing off between districts. We are so EXCITED!
This week we have been quite sick . Being sick is so hard for me! I’m not the type who wants to just rest, especially as a missionary. There is so much work to do! I was humbled though. I did in fact stay at home and rest. Saturday morning was very hard. I woke up and I couldn’t move. I was in a lot of pain and didn’t know why. I barely made it into the bathroom. I called our nurse and explained my situation. She asked do you have a fever? I didn’t know why it didn’t think of that before haha but I checked. I did in fact have a very very high fever. I struggled to bring my fever down. I rested all day and was just having a hard day. At about 7 I was half asleep on the couch when I heard a rock hit the window. Sister Erickson popped up and said get your coat on we are going! Where?? I looked like a hot mess… we walked down the stairs to see our zone leaders standing there with a milkshake. Sister Erickson texted them and said I was having a bad day and asked if they could bring me a milkshake. I felt so loved. It’s those small moments that make the biggest difference.
A miracle! We received a call from a boy who is 17 years old. He said Sister Howick! (I was surprised he remembered me.) My friend Genevieve is ready to learn more about the gospel. Can you come tomorrow? ABSOLUTELY! We had a very powerful lesson with her. The testimonies of her 2 teenage friends is what made that lesson powerful. Member work is so important and changes so many lives! We were able to find a friend this week when I didn’t think that would be possible. God loves his children!
I hope you all have a wonderful and safe week.
