How is it already Monday! This week was a crazy busy week for Sister Palmer and I. We started out this week at Mission Leadership Council. As you all know it’s one of my favorite missionary meetings. The spirit is always so strong in that room! Our mission commitment this month is to speak with the tongue of angels. I’d encourage all of you to evaluate the words you use and join me in this commitment. The promised blessings are huge. I’m super excited to see the change this has in our mission.
ZONE CONFERENCE! We had an amazing zone conference this week. It’s so fun to be surrounded by so many missionaries! The excitement and enthusiasm for the work is always amazing when we all gather. We as a star zone leadership also gave spirit led training. It’s the best feeling when I leave a training knowing that the spirit did the teaching.
Exchanges! We accomplished all of our exchanges. We did our last one this weekend. I got to serve with Sister Reynolds here in Star. We sure love Star! One of our very first appointments was with a member who has a missionary out. The spirit was so strong as she bore testimony of the miracles she has seen from his mission. It was a very special moment to see how others truly can be impacted by others’ service. This reminded me of a scripture I read in one of my personal studies this week. Mosiah 23:26-28 “Now it came to pass that the brethren of Alma fled from their fields, and gathered themselves together in the city of Helam; and they were much frightened because of the appearance of the Lamanites. 27 But Alma went forth and stood among them, and exhorted them that they should not be frightened, but that they should remember the Lord their God and he would deliver them. 28 Therefore they hushed their fears, and began to cry unto the Lord that he would soften the hearts of the Lamanites, that they would spare them, and their wives, and their children.” FAITH OVER FEAR! When we truly rely on God and our Savior Jesus Christ the miracles come!
Madi! Aww this girl is so special to me. She told us this week that she has chosen to be baptized! She didn’t realize she could be baptized any day of the week( her conflict was her family travels on the weekend). As soon as we told her she lit up! She said she will talk to her parents again and let us know the final date on Wednesday. Can’t wait for her!
Hope you all had a wonderful week. I love you all so much!
