OH my goodness I can not believe another week has gone! Time flies here in the mission field! To start off the week we got to give a training at what is called a progress meeting. This is a 3 week check in with the new missionaries. It was SO fun to see all of the missionaries and feel the spirit together!
EXCHANGES!! This week we went on 2 exchanges! I went to Meridian with a sister named Burton for my 1st exchange. We had so much fun. A guy tried to bash us lol. I bore testimony of the restoration of the gospel and the book of mormon. It was honestly so cool to know for myself what was true even when things were going downhill. My second exchange was in Nampa with sister Hoffman! SHE IS SO FUN! We definitely had a good laugh together. We talked to a lot of people and I probably broke a traffic law attempting to pull over for a guy walking his dog.
OUR FRIENDS!! My missionary heart has been so full this transfer!! We are finding so many people who are ready to receive this gospel. We found a guy named Nathan who bore testimony of the restoration and the BOM! We aslo met a guy this week named Jimmy who just watched his best friend convert to the gospel. When he recognized who we were and who we represent his whole countenance changed and he told us he was ready to change his life too. So cool right! The rest of our friends are progressing so fast!
Lastly, SACRAMENT! WOW! If you told me at the beginning of my mission I would be speaking in sacrament meeting without a paper I would have laughed at you. I feel so blessed to have grown in my speaking ability. I actually quite enjoy it now! My companion and I were able to adjust our talks based on the friends that came to church or on the needs we felt at that moment. I couldn’t have done it without God’s help!
I’m coming up on the last 2 transfers of my mission. I have very bittersweet feelings. I absolutely LOVE being a missionary!! I would not change my experience for anything in the world! I love you all and i’m so thankful for you!
